Ubuntu 5.10 Released

Finally, Ubuntu 5.10 is released.

To download Ubuntu, head over here, and to download Kubuntu, go here.

Will download and do a fresh install on the laptop. Speaking of laptops, I am back to using the old Dell Inspiron 1100, which IMO sucks. Am on the lookout for a new laptop, so if you have recommendations, would be glad to check them out.

I got a Dell 700m, I’m running slack comfortably (wish I had bandwidth for Gentoo). If you are looki9ng for an el cheapo lappy I suggest you go for the Dell. The best hting about it is that you can get the spares cheap.
    I got a 1.8GHz 40gigs 512megs dvd+rw for 900 US.
My brother had, OTOH, bought a compaq and had terrible experiences with it.

    Cheers!
