may…..
XIMB alumni meet - Mumbai was held at The Grand Sheraton, Andheri(E) - May 30th. Around 100 or so people had turned up…mostly from PGP 2002-2005.
PGP 2002
Manish, Ashi, Satya, Aditya, Kapil, Rupak, Vivek, Aloka, Simran, Swati and Deepak, Biplab, Rajat, Ravi Nagar.
PGP 2003
PGP 2003 were
Jessel, Deepika, Karishma, Sumit, Radhika, Santrupta, Sushmita, Sambit, Soumya, Anshul, Arvind, Anup, Manoj, Ramu, Saroj, Abhijit, Anupam, Deepak, Mrinalini
Umm, these are all I remember, maybe I missed out on some in the jostling. Father Abe was around with his “what happened at XIM last year” sheet of paper. And food and drinks. PGP 2005 did a good job of managing the meet, though a Saturday night meet would have had a FAR greater turnout.
What else has happened this month? Hmm, some Coca Cola spilled into my laptop, so it does’nt boot. Am waiting for Dell’s service engineers to take a look and if nothing else, recover the data on the disk. Time to move onto a new laptop I guess, and looking for recommendations. Requirements - Light, good display, Low power consumption, good AGP, large hdd - 60G(atleast), relatively Linux compatible, 802.11 a/b/g compat, a CD-RW/DVD(RW preferred)..
Been listening to lots of classical music lately, and read some decent books. Not seen good movies lately though, in fact, not seen any movie in weeks, and cut down on the telly-watching. Soccer season over, though Euro 2004 is a bright spot that’s coming up. Not much else is on in life….Mumbai humidity and travel sucks… All for the moment…
